Suddenly and unexpectedly in Renfrew Hospital on Thursday August 7, 2014. Esther Christina (Gauley) Farrell of Arnprior. Dear daughter of the late Corl Gauley and the late Christina (Dodd) Gauley. Pre-deceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Verne (July 4, 2014). Dearly loved mother of Rick (Leslie) Farrell, Randy (Olga) Farrell and Ruth (Hugh) Hunter. Cherished Grandma of Justin (Allison McGrath), Paula, Emily and Erica. Also survived by sister Eunice Bigelow (late Clayton). Pre-deceased by sisters Gladys Noble (late Ernie), Althiea Bigelow (late Walter), Merle Birch (late Harold), Margaret Brydges (late Manford) and infant brother George. Esther had a rewarding career at the Bank of Nova Scotia, making many long-time friends during her career. A fiercely-proud and protective Mother and Grandmother, Esther spent many hours with her grandchildren, enjoying their many sporting and other activities as they grew up. She was also very active in her church, with the Anglican Church Women and with the Order of the Eastern Star. The family wishes to thank Dr Earl Gordon, the staff at Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital and her personal support worker, Valarie Baker, for their excellent care and compassion over the years.

thence to Emmanuel Anglican Church, Arnprior for funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
Interment Arnprior Malloch Road Cemetery.
In memoriams to Shriners Hospitals or the charity of ones choice would be appreciated by her family.
Eastern Star service Monday at 5:45 p.m. at Boyce Funeral Home.
