(retired BASF, Arnprior) Passed away in Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Sunday afternoon, April 8, 2012. Leonard Nicholas of Arnprior, at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Greta (Brydges) Nicholas. Dear father of Carl Nicky Nicholas (Kathy), Beverly Kopetoske, Deborah Morphy (Harold) and Lynn Pettigrew (Jeff Heath). Life long best friend of Carl Tyers. Survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Wilfred (Eleen) and Gerald (late Pierrette). Predeceased by brothers Roy (Doreen), Jerry (Harriet) and Doug (Margaret). Son of the late William Nicholas and Mary Jane Robillard.
Visitations at
The Boyce Funeral Home Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre
138 Daniel Street N. Arnprior
where family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
Liturgy of The Word will be held in The Boyce Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Friday April 13, 2012.
Interment Arnprior Malloch Road Cemetery.
A luncheon will follow in The Boyce Reception Centre.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Grove Nursing Home would be appreciated by his family.
