Passed away in Almonte General Hospital on Sunday evening, February 12, 2012. Ross Burgess of Pakenham at the age of 89 years. Son of the late Robert and Charlotte (Poff) Burgess. Beloved husband of Lillian (Duncan) Burgess for 65 years. Dear father of Ronald (Joyce), Gordon (Monica), Nancy (Norman) and Bonnie. Dear grandfather of Michael, Danny, Krista, Robert, Jeffrey, Angela, Amy, Randy, Nicholas and Ashley. Great grandfather of Aaron, Riley, Zachary and Danica. Predeceased by sisters Verna and Blanche and brothers Earwell and Ernest. Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitations at
The Boyce Funeral Home Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre
138 Daniel Street N. Arnprior
where family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday evening 7-9 p.m. and after 10: a.m. Thursday February 16, 2012.
Funeral service will be held in The Boyce Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Debbie Roi officiating.
Following the burial service at Pakenham Union Cemetery there will be a luncheon in The Boyce Reception Centre.
In memoriams to the Alzheimers Society or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by his family.
