Nugent, Erik Aidan
1990-2011
Erik Aidan Nugent from White Lake, who unfortunately passed away due to a vehicle accident on Saturday August 27, 2011. Predeceased by his brother Braedan, he is a beloved son of Babette Nugent (partner Tom) of White Lake and Kevin (partner Lorraine) Nugent of Peterborough. A graduate of Arnprior and District High School, Erik was on his way to further his dreams with friends, to study Alternate Energy Technology at St. Lawrence College in Kingston.
An excellent student, a fine athlete, with a great sense of humour, Erik kept his friends and family close, meanwhile living his life to the fullest. Being so young, he already outlined his goals, always talking about what he wanted to change with the world. Before Eriks passing, he had already made an impact on the people around him; always ready to lend a hand, to give us hope and perseverance, or tell a few jokes. He was quick to make friends, formed strong bonds with many of those around him and moved the hearts of an entire community.
Erik will be greatly mourned by the community of White Lake. He hopes that in his life, with his passing, his friends can be inspired to move forward and be the best they can be. Most of all, Erik will be greatly missed by his entire family, who will carry on his spirit and love of life.
