Passed away suddenly in the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Tuesday morning, February 8, 2011. Reinhardt Mathisen of Arnprior in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Marie Emilie (Lund Jensen) Mathisen. Dear father of Peter (late Jane), Erik (Shannon) and Inger (Giuliano Bosa). Predeceased by a daughter Anne Marie (2006) (Maurice Periard). Dear grandfather of Bonnie, Bob, Steven, Tina (Rob), Andrew, Kristy, Marisa, Rosanna, Patrick and Samantha. Great grandfather of Violet-Marie and Elliott. Predeceased by his brother Verner Bjerregaard Mathisen (Ellen) of Denmark in 1983.Reinhardt is survived by his extended family in Denamrk.

By request there will be no formal visitations or funeral service.
The family will gather in The Boyce Reception Centre on Friday February 11, 2011 after 2: p.m. for a reception and time of remembrance.
In memoriams to the Arnprior, McNab, Braeside Seniors at Home program would be appreciated by his family.
