Barrie, Lola McKibbon April 7, 1912-December 31, 2010 Passed away peacefully, into the arms of her beloved Ronald, with her family by her side at Miramichi Lodge on Friday December 31, 2010. Lola Halpenny, age 98 years, beloved wife of the late Ronald Barrie. Loving mother of Gayle Barks and her husband Robert of Deep River and the late Shirley LeSage and her husband Edward of Duncan B.C. Cherished grandmother of Travis Dodd and his wife Shelley of Chalk River, Tara Thompson and her husband John of Toronto, Stephen and Aundrea-Lynn LeSage of Duncan B.C. and step grandmother to Shannon Plourde and Tricia Hoeksema both of Winnipeg and Trevor Barks of Deep River. Great grandmother to Caelan Dodd, Jack and Brodie Thompson and step great grandmother to Jared, Austin and Emma Plourde, Justin and Kirk Hoeksema and Cody Barks. Predeceased by four brothers Wilbert, Alvin, Elmore and Earl Halpenney and two sisters Gertrude McNabb and Edythe Lathem. Visitations at The Boyce Funeral Home, Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre 138 Daniel St. N., Arnprior Wednesday January 5, 2011 from 10: a.m. to 12: 45 p.m. Funeral service to be conducted in The Boyce Chapel on Wednesday at 1: p.m. followed by cremation. Inurnment will take place at a later date in White Lake Community Cemetery. In memoriam donations to the Miramichi Lodge in Pembroke and the Deep River and District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
