Sharon and her husband owned Mels House of Flowers in Arnprior and Sharon was the hairdresser at Boyce Funeral Home for over 30 years.
Passed away in Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday evening, September 28, 2010. Sharon Mielke (nee Dodds) of Arnprior in her 68th year. Daughter of Mrs. Margaret Dodds (nee Belsher) and the late Earnest Dodds. Beloved wife of Mel Mielke. Dear mother of Shawna Marshall (Steven) and Rhonda Mielke. Dear grandmother of Taylor Marshall and Cody Marshall (Shannon). Great grandmother of Ava Marshall. Dear sister of Marylea (late Doug) Tourangeau.
Visitations at The Boyce Chapel, Visitation, and Reception Centre 138 Daniel Street N. Arnprior
Friends may pay their respects on Friday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. and after 10: am Saturday Funeral service will be held in The Boyce Chapel Saturday October 2, 2010 at 11: am Following a luncheon in The Boyce Reception Centre the funeral procession will motor to Schwartz Lutheran Cemetery, Schwartz P.Q. for burial service.
In memoriams to the palliative care unit at Arnprior Hospital or ComCare/CCAC Champlain District would be appreciated by her family.
