Morphy, Arthur Welland Oct. 13, 1925—Nov. 30, 2009 Past Master of Madawaska Lodge # 196 A.F. & A.M. Past Grand Steward, Grand Lodge Retired Ontario Hydro, Chats Falls Art passed away in Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Monday morning, November 30, 2009. Arthur Morphy of The Arnprior Villa and formerly of RR 3 Pakenham in his 85th year. Husband of Nora Ann Johnston. Dear father of Elaine MacLean (Robert) of Ottawa, Floyd of Edmonton, Alberta and James (Shelley) of Ottawa. Predeceased by a daughter, Norine Duhn. Dear grandfather of Sarah, Amy, Nicholas, Michael and Evan. Great grandfather of Grace. Dear brother of Mrs Alma Majaury of RR 3 Arnprior. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Son of the late Henry Morphy and Edith McNab. Art was known for his great sense of humour and wit and his kindness and devotion to his community. Resting at The Boyce Funeral Home Ltd Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre 138 Daniel Street N. Arnprior where friends may pay their respects on Wednesday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Arthur’s life will be held on Thursday morning, December 3, 2009 at 11: a.m. in St Mark’s Anglican Church in Pakenham followed by burial service in St Mark’s Cemetery. Following the cemetery service there will be a luncheon in The Boyce Funeral Home Reception Centre. In memoriams to “Partners in Caring” of Arnprior Hospital or St Mark’s Anglican Church in Pakenham would be appreciated by his family. A Masonic Service will be held on Wednesday evening at 6: 45 p.m. at Boyce Funeral Home Condolences / Donations at www.boycefuneralhome.ca
