Passed away peacefully while surrounded by loved ones after a 15 year battle with cancer
Gaile (Blair) Johnston, of Stewartville in her 71st year
She is survived by her husband Walter D. Johnston
Predeceased by her late husband Roy W.J. Blair (1977)

step father George G. Lewis
and sister Patricia (late Angus) Bower of Summerside P.E.I.
Dearly loved mother of Peter Jones of Arnprior, Douglas (Rita) Jones of Richmond B.C., Juli (Paul) Wolstenholme of London Ont., Kyle (Jacqueline) Blair of Ottawa, Donna Blair of Ottawa and Michael J. (Kathy) Blair of Arnprior

Gaile was born at Yarmouth N.S., moving to Ottawa at an early age. The salty air never left her bones and she returned to her loved South Shore often. Once the children were on their own, she traveled across Canada with friends. Her only regret was the by-passing of Saskatchewan. She was an avid bird watcher, quilter and gardener

Interment to take place at Flat Rapids Cemetery at a later date
