Doris and family, please accept my deepest sympathies and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this tender moment. I was so sad to learn of George's passing, he was a true gentleman and a kind caring man, he touched my soul and was a good friend of mine while I was in Arnprior and living at Islandview Retirement Suites. I only hope that he a real solid "Bingo Scratch ticket" come-in for him before his passing, I so enjoyed his sharing his walks with me to the corner store to get his daily ticket!! Doris he loved you so much, I so admired the love he had for you my dear. You were on his mind every minute of every day. I hope you and your family can find peace and comfort in this difficult time. No matter where George went he made an impression and friends alike!!...I will truly miss his kind way and friendly manner, GOD BLESS YOU GEORGE!! R.I.P.
With Love,
Dave Partridge,
Exeter, Ontario

My deepest sympathies to George's family. George and my father (Ivan Finlan) grew up together in Wyman. Whenever George would be in the area, he would always stop in for a visit. I remember one time that he came to the door and when I answered it, he said that he was from Revenue Canada. Well, I had no notion of letting him into the house without proper ID. When my father came to the door, I can still hear George laughing and saying, "you have her well trained Ivan". He was a good man and I am sure will be sorely missed by his loved ones. May your memories bring you comfort.
