Obituary of Beryl Kirk

May 29, 1925 - November 11, 2023

It is with sadness that we announce that Beryl Kirk passed away peacefully at the Grove Nursing Home in Arnprior on Saturday morning, November 11, 2023 at the remarkable age of 98. Beryl, a woman of grace and resilience, was the beloved wife of the late William Kirk, a loving mother to Stephen (Pamela), Andrew (Susan), and Jennifer (Thomas), and a cherished grandmother to Gabrielle, Ian, David, Gillian, Colin and Lenore. She is survived by her sister Hazel and predeceased by her brothers Herbert, Norman, Roy and Malcolm and sisters Audrey and Greta. Born in England, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Emily (Dickens) Brown. Beryl's life was like a beautiful tapestry, woven with special moments shared with family and friends in England, the U.S. and Canada. Her knitting and cross-stitching endeavors were not merely hobbies; they were the threads that wove together the fabric of her legacy. Her handcrafted creations were more than artifacts; they were tokens of love and reminders of the warmth that emanated from her gentle spirit. Her artistry was not confined to the stitches of her craft; it extended to the relationships she cultivated, leaving an enduring legacy of love, care, and creativity. Beryl's arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior where visitation will be held Monday November 27, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service in the Boyce Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment Arnprior Malloch Road Cemetery. The service will be available via Live Webcast and can be found to the left of this page.
