With sadness the family announces that Mary passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday morning, November 3, 2021 with her children at her side; Mary Elizabeth Proulx (nee Carmichael) of Arnprior, formerly of Braeside, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Charles Proulx (Jan. 20, 2004). Loving mother of Cheryl Hammond (Terry), Pam Martin (Danny) both of Arnprior and Derek Proulx (Gianna) of Toronto. Predeceased by her son, Danny. (1981). Cherished grandmother of Steven Proulx, Zachary Martin, Kurt Martin and Danielle Proulx. Great-grandmother of Mackenzie and Dawson. Dear sister-in-law of Roland Kewley (Marilyn) of Sand Point, Eileen Nicholas (Wilfred) of Arnprior and Meda Proulx (Late Robert) of Braeside. Predeceased by brothers Daryle Carmichael (Shirley), Howard Carmichael (late Doreen), John Carmichael (late Lavina); sister, Eileen Gordon (late Jack); brothers-in-law, Cyril (late Kaye), Bobby Proulx, Joey (late Jean) and sister-in-law Audrey Murphy. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Wellington and Florence (McGregor) Carmichael. Resting at the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd. 138 Daniel St. N., Arnprior where friends may pay their respects at an open visitation on Friday November 5, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning. Funeral service will be conducted in the Boyce Chapel Saturday November 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Dr. Leo Hughes officiating. Interment Arnprior Malloch Road Cemetery. In memoriam donations to the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
