Passed away peacefully in Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Sunday afternoon, May 23, 2010, the day before his 80th birthday. Born in Martock N.S. Carl was the son of the late James Sweet and Blanche Smith (late Guy Hawboldt). Predeceased by his first wife, Eleanor Cartwright and his son James Lloyd. Loving husband of Mary. Eldest brother of Don (Debbie), Ellen (Ernie Maling), twin sisters Doreen (Ted Eagles) and Dorothy (Avery Mason). Dear father of David (Barb) and Nancy (Rick Tourangeau). Step father of James Stewart (Joanne) and Patricia MacGarvey (Derrick). Dear grandfather of Andrew, Shawn, Brad, Casey, Corey, Patrick, Michael, Julia and Ally. Uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Resting at The
Boyce Funeral Home Ltd Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre
138 Daniel Street N. Arnprior
where friends may pay their respects on Wednesday 2-4 pm, 7-9 pm and after 10: am Thursday May 27, 2010.
Thence to Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church, Arnprior for funeral service at 11: am.
Interment Arnprior Albert Street Cemetery.
