My condolences to Bev and family, Tom was such a great guy. Although all of my interactions with Tom were with and though his brother Ed he always was so congenial and funny. These last few years have been a difficult for both Tom and Bev and had tested their love for each other and their faith in God, they have stood the test of time. Now there will be an empty chair at the table, however Tom's memories will be always be there. We are also confident that we will see Tommy again when all pain and sorrow will be forever gone. I loved working with Tom at 100 Huntley Street. We travelled across Canada taping stories of how God was working in peoples lives. Tommy was very good at his job and always an asset to our field crew. But what I remember most was how much fun it was to work with him. I send my love to Bev and the family as you deal with your loss. There is no doubt where this faithful follower of Jesus is today - Tommy is home and healed in the presence of Jesus. We want to pass on our condolences and prayers to Bev and family, regarding the passing of Tom. Darlene and I wish we could attend the funeral/celebration of life on Saturday at Arnprior; however, due to distance, we won’t be able to attend. It seems only yesterday, we were at thei wedding at Stone Church! Love and prayers, and may the Lord grant the peace that passes all understanding, at this time. Bev, We were so saddened to hear of Tom’s passing – and of his health struggles over the past few years. Tom was truly one of a kind. We’ll never forget his wacky sense of humour and his ability to bring joy to the people around him. We remember Tom mainly through his years at Huntley Street and Stone Church in Toronto. Those were special years for all of us, and Tom was a ‘unique’ part of it all. But beneath all the humour was a genuine love for the Lord and for people. We know that there are no words that can take away the pain of losing Tom. But we pray that you and your family will be deeply comforted by the assurance that, because of his faith in Jesus, this is not goodbye forever. We grieve, but not as those who have no hope. We’re praying for you and holding you close in our thoughts during this difficult time. May the Lord surround you with His peace and give you strength for each day. We were saddened to hear of Tommy’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bev, Liam, Clare, Tim, Donna, Robert, Ed, Gail and extended family. Tommy was truly one of a kind - full of wit, humour, warmth and generosity. Randy and Laurie have many fond memories spending time with Tommy as kids on their farm playing war games, football and hockey. Many years were also spent going to Glad Tidings Sunday school, youth outings at rallies and fun time at Scheel’s Lodge. These moments led to lasting friendships and many cherished memories. Tommy was a true friend who's kindness and good nature always made any time and distance melt away. We will miss you Tommy. Till we meet again. To The Moorhead Family: I am deeply sorry to hear about the passing of Tom and your loss. The world was undoubtedly a better place with him in it. His notable sense of humour along with his care for others, always brought warmth to those around him. It goes without saying, he will be sorely missed by many. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. Rest easy now, Tom. You will be forever missed by so many of the people's lives you made an impact on. And was is ever an impressionable impact. When an individual met Tom, they never forgot something about either that very moment or other times when one would meet him again. That wildly infectious smile of his had a way of almost permanently implanting peace into the mind. Whilst in conversation with the fellow, one would always anticipate for him to make a funny remark. Right alongside Tom's heartwarming smile, he carried his faith, a massive heart of gold, and he provided for his family just as much as he did for the rest of his loved ones. And talk about an intellectual guy... I remember growing up on the farm on Diamondview Road and whenever he visited, he always either made you laugh and smile or he'd tell you the most interesting things... Mostly, he'd do both. There are many things I regret, but, after losing my elder brother last year, I've come to believe that that's just a natural part of the grieving process upon losing a loved one. It's a feeling like you're missing a part of you that could only be replaced by the person who's no longer around to replace it for you. Please God, be with the Moorhead family though these troubled times. Help them to hold their heads high. Thank you so much, Tommy, for your boundless love, kindness, guidance, wisdom, and all the laughs. I send my deepest condolences to the Moorhead family. Luke Stevenson

I am so saddened by the loss of my friend Tom. Our last communication was an exchange of health circumstances some years ago. When he located to Toronto in the 70’s we connected because of our Arnprior connections. We had quite a few memorable adventures in those days. Perhaps the most memorable was a trip to Southern California in the summer of 1978. It was a busy schedule of Christian concerts, a visit to Tijuana, Sea World, the mountains, sunburns, Las Vegas and the Hoover Dam. In those days Tom could live on a steady diet of hamburgs. We enjoyed Bible studies at the Krause sisters apartment. Saturday afternoons we enjoyed hockey games with the Stone Church boys. Having an affinity for quirky personalities, I have to say Tommy had one of the best. Tom had an enviable stereo system that could plaster you against the wall in his basement apartment. You lead a life well lived my friend. We will catch up at the Resurrection. Garry Gordon, Comox, Vancouver Island
