Maynard John Robillard

October 26, 1932 - July 21, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Maynard John Robillard, of Castleford at the the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday morning, July 21, 2026, at the age of 93.

Beloved husband of Betty (née McConnell). Loving father of Nancy Paquette (Gilbert) and step-father of Michael Latham (Leeann), Christine Savard (Tony), and Julie Radchenka (Michael). Cherished grandfather of Kimberly (Kevin) Yagminas, Michael, Brett, Alyssa, Eric, and Leah. He was also the proud great-grandfather of Matthias, Andrius, Alana, Michael, Asher, Maisie, and Rowan.

Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Sina (McEwan) Robillard, his first wife Janie Deacon and their infant son, and his siblings Irene Cunningham (late Harold), Eric (late Edna), Rhona Remus (Julius), Harrison (late Christine), Eldon (late Theresa), Eunice, Elizabeth McManus (late Cliff) and Beatrice “Dolly” Wall (Michael) as well as his late aunts and uncles. Maynard will be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.

A skilled carpenter, Maynard owned and operated Robillard Custom Cabinets and Stairs. He cherished his time at the hunt camp in Calabogie and was always ready to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and neighbours. Known for his generous spirit and kind heart, he touched the lives of many with his warmth and willingness to help others.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service in the Boyce Chapel at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the Boyce Reception Centre. Interment will take place at White Lake Community Cemetery.

In memory of Maynard, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
