Obituary of Robert (Bob) Legault

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Dad, Robert (Bob) Legault on May 25, 2026.

Having been born and raised on a farm in Casselman, he knew the importance of hard work, resilience, and kindness. He instilled these values in us from a young age.

Dad was a loving father and husband who found his greatest joy spending time with his family. His love was constant and unconditional. The memories we all created with him will be treasure that we will cherish and hold closely to our hearts.

Dad loved the outdoors, whether it was gardening or casting a line to "fish." He taught us to love and cherish the world around us.

Dad spent his later years lovingly cared for at the Grove in Arnprior. His carers and staff have all commented how much he will be missed for wit, charm, laughter and his dashing personality. 

He was predeceased by his loving wife, Anne (May 24 2000). He will be deeply missed by his children Faith (Keith), Julie (Dennis), and Mark (Stephanie); his grandchildren Kassaundra, Mitchell, Elizabeth (Jeremy), Isabelle (Emmet), Katharine, and Evan; as well as his great-grandchildren Hailey and Thomas; His loving sister and brothers and their children. Those who had the opportunity and privilege to be part of our fathers life will most certainly miss him as well.

A celebration of Dad's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice, or something that we would appreciate, is to be with your loved ones and to spend a quiet moment outside listening to the world around us in his memory.
