Obituary of Robert Doy-Yat

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Doy-Yat of Arnprior, who passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the Ottawa Civic Hospital at the age of 66, with his family by his side.

Loving father of Letitia Doy-Yat (Jacob Halifax), Lukas Doy-Yat, and Lesley Doy-Yat (Angus Kelman). Cherished Grandpa of Aurora, Theodore, and Beckham. Dear brother of Jason Doy-Yat. Predeceased by his parents, Robert and Barbara (née Bradley) Doy-Yat, and by his brother Joseph Doy-Yat.

Robert had a remarkable talent for fixing anything and found great joy in hunting, fishing, and cooking. He took pride in his career as an ironworker and will be deeply missed by his many friends, colleagues, and extended family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. Cremation has taken place.
