Connie Marie Smeltzer

January 22, 1964 – April 30, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Connie Marie Smeltzer of Prescott, who passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026. She has gone to join her Mom, Sue (they are likely having a heavenly martini as you read this).

Beloved daughter of Wayne and the late Susan (Walters) Smeltzer. Connie was the dear sister of George Smeltzer (Lori) and the loving aunt of Kenzie. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A lifelong animal lover who always seemed to be surrounded by a menagerie, Connie passed in the company of her canine companion Phoenix and her cats Odin and Supernova.

Connie was born in Guelph, Ont. and grew up in Arnprior, Ont. She served in the Canadian Military Air Force in the early 1980s.

Connie’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel  Street N., Arnprior. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
