Judith Evangeline Johnstone

August 18, 1943 – April 12, 2026

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Judith Evangeline Johnstone on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the Ottawa General Hospital, at the age of 82. Judith was the beloved and devoted wife of Stan Johnstone for more than 50 loving years, sharing a lifetime filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering partnership. She was a treasured and loving sister to Karen Tverkutes, Perry Erhardt (Donna), and Carmeleta Agdomar. With her kind heart and gentle spirit, she was a much-cherished aunt to Michelle Kwan, Jordan Johnstone, Tama Tverkutes, Dean Maki, and Kristopher Bonapeldorn.

Judith’s warm presence and quiet generosity will be deeply missed by her many cousins and dear friends, whose lives she touched so beautifully. Born in Whitewood, Saskatchewan, she was the cherished daughter of the late Eino and Myra (Salonen) Maki.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior. A Celebration of Life will be held at All Saint’s Anglican Church, Westboro, 347 Richmond Road, Ottawa on Saturday May 23, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. A service followed by interment will take place at New Finland Community Cemetery, Saskatchewan later in the year.
