Obituary of Robert "Bob" Majaury

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bob Majaury, a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, and a respected member of the Arnprior community. Bob will be remembered for his strong work ethic, kind spirit, and unwavering dedication to those around him.

Bob was a proud owner and operator of “Bob’s Place”, where he built not only a business, but a gathering place filled with friendship and community. He also worked diligently for the Town of Arnprior, where his commitment and reliability earned him the respect of colleagues and residents alike. 

Bob leaves behind his beloved wife, Barb Majaury and his cherished twin sister, Barbara Stachera (Jan). He will be deeply missed by his children; Christopher Majaury (Suzie), Christine Majaury, Rhonda Buchanan (Richard), Trevor Hammond (Sarah), Dodie Hammond, and Joey Hammond (Kim).

He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren; Shelby Buchanan (Brian Cunningham), Cole Buchanan, Kayla Howes, Logan Buchanan, Chase Buchanan, Brandon Majaury, Hayden Hammond (Angie), Alexis Majaury, Max Armstrong, Charlotte Armstrong, Ryan Brooks, and Katie Hammond, as well as three great-granddaughters who brought him immense joy.

He was predeceased by his brother Al Majaury (Lois) and infant siblings Micheal and Joy Majaury.

Bob will be remembered for his generosity; sense of humor, and the lasting impact he made on his family, friends and community. His legacy of hard work and love for those closest to him will live on in all who knew him.

Bob’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior. Visitation will be held Saturday April 4, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.  A Memorial service will be held in the Boyce Chapel at 4:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Boyce Reception Centre. Private interment at Arnprior Albert Street Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Bob, a donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
