I’m deeply saddened to hear of George’s passing. May he rest in eternal peace. My heartfelt condolences go out to his beloved family, siblings, and cherished friends.
I’ve known George for a long time, dating back to our days in San Fernando, Trinidad. He was a dear friend of my older brother, Carl. As young boys, they were mischievous and sometimes funny. They would tease me just for fun, which they thought was hilarious. I also remember George being a wonderful guitarist. We would all gather around our porch steps and sing songs like “Hang Down Your Head, Tom Dooley.” There were many other songs we sang. He’s left behind a wealth of wonderful memories with our family.
I had the privilege of reconnecting with George in Canada a few times. He’s now at peace in the arms of our Lord. May our cherished memories of him comfort us during this difficult time.

Shannon, Stacey, Serena, Gavin, Ben, Josh and Robin, please accept heartfelt condolences from Sharon, Khalid, Karen, little Josh and Soraiya. The world feels like a sadder place without my brother . He was the kindest, gentlest, of our generation. I will love and miss him for my remaining life.

To Shannon, Stacey, Ben, Serena, Gavin, Josh, and Robin.
We are sharing our heartfelt condolences on George’s passing. He was always the fun uncle. There were many groaner “George Jokes” at every family gathering and we all learned to just smile and let him take all the photos as the camera was always in his hands.
Sending you all lots of love.
Rhian, David, and Noah

My condolences to the family. I chatted a few times with George at Island View and then at The Grove while I was caring after my own parents.
