I’m deeply saddened to hear of George’s passing. May he rest in eternal peace. My heartfelt condolences go out to his beloved family, siblings, and cherished friends. I’ve known George for a long time, dating back to our days in San Fernando, Trinidad. He was a dear friend of my older brother, Carl. As young boys, they were mischievous and sometimes funny. They would tease me just for fun, which they thought was hilarious. I also remember George being a wonderful guitarist. We would all gather around our porch steps and sing songs like “Hang Down Your Head, Tom Dooley.” There were many other songs we sang. He’s left behind a wealth of wonderful memories with our family. I had the privilege of reconnecting with George in Canada a few times. He’s now at peace in the arms of our Lord. May our cherished memories of him comfort us during this difficult time.
