Very sad news, my condolences to Sherry and family. Charlene was a lovely neighbor when I lived in Braeside many years ago Would see her every Sunday morning walking by on her way to church...Our dog Daisy would go out to greet her as she went by. Such a lovely kind woman...always had a smile.

Your mom was one of the first woman I met when moving to Braeside in 1996 as a young woman .
I remember her following Derek, 2 steps behind him always , I drove them to CHEO a few times for appointments
She was an über Mother , and a wonderful person .
How lucky for you she was your mom and Grandmother .

I'm so sorry to hear of Charlene's passing. How many hours did I spend in her yard with a crowd of kids around me, laughing, shouting, playing games and then running home fast when the street lights came on. All my memories of her are good ones. Her warm smile was a comfort and a part of what made her corner of Braeside warm, inviting and the place for kids to hang out. My condolences to all the family.

Charlene and I grew up in the same ClayBank neighborhood. We attended Sunday school together and in later years we met with others who were friends from childhood to celebrate each others birthdays.Charlene’s smile will be missed. Sympathy extended to her family.
