Glenn Louise Bahm
(nee Ross)
April 28, 1938 – August 29, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Glenn at the Grove Long Term Care in Arnprior on Friday, August 29, 2025, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Dale Edgar Bahm (2021). Dearly loved mother of Carl Bahm (Laurie) of Mount St. Patrick, Lynda Bridge (Jamie) of Napanee, Shelley Eades (late Phillip) of Renfrew, and Ross Bahm of Waba. Cherished grandmother of Aaron, Jolene, Katie, Beckie, Jenny, Jesse, Kelsey, Emily, Morgan, and Taylor, and great-grandmother of Braxtin, Danika, Nathan, Ethan, Elliott, Blake, Zoey, Quinn, Cayden, Owen, Bently, Emilee, Jack, Lexi and Sabrina. Dear sister of Laurel Pearase (late Dan) of Burnaby, BC, and Douglas Ross of Ottawa. Dear sister-in-law of Dalton Bahm (Catherine), Helena Hoare (Ozzie), Bill Bahm (Heather), and Brent Bahm (Penny). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Norman (late Wendy), sister Morna Backa (late Levi), and brothers-in-law Daryl Bahm (Cathy) and Ralph Bahm (late Debbie). Daughter of the late John "Jack" and Edna (nee Hillyard) Ross.
Glenn loved her family deeply and always brought joy to those around her, often making a lighthearted joke about being named Glenn which she cheekily noted was traditionally a boy's name. She took great pleasure in sewing, gardening, pickling, and canning, pursuits that reflected her nurturing spirit. Together with Dale, she embarked on adventures around the globe, exploring enchanting destinations such as Hawaii, Argentina, Portugal, and Bermuda. Professionally, she dedicated many years to Huyck Canada before retiring and was once an active member of the Glasgow Women’s Institute.
Glenn's arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior, where visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, followed by interment at Flat Rapids Cemetery, McNab-Braeside. In memory of Glenn, a donation may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
