With heavy hearts but joy for a life well-lived, we announce that Collins passed away peacefully at the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital on Thursday August, 28, 2025 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of Dianne Evans (nee White). Predeceased by wife June Evans. (2007). Proud father of Cleo Evans, Todd Evans and Tracy Evans (Brenda). Lovingly remembered by his step-children Larry Fillmore (Ann-Marie), Karen Cole (Dave), Roxanne Mesman and Alberta McNicol (Jason) as well as their children. Will be remembered fondly by his nephew Ken Evans (Gwen). Son of the late George and Nettie (nee Starr) Evans.
Collins was a skilled carpenter by trade and a talented cabinet maker. He will be especially remembered for his dedicated maintenance role at the Arnprior Hospital, where he demonstrated his remarkable versatility and ability to turn his hand to any task.
