Lorna Beatrice Kerns

The family is saddened to announce the sudden passing of their beloved Lorna, at her home in Milton on Thursday August 14, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by her dear husband Alf (1998). Mother to Terry and his wife Lenora, Ellen and Heather and her husband Tony. Grandmother to Sarah (Al), Katie (Alan), Jamie, Danielle (Dave), Joe, Brendan, Emily (Tanish) and Olivia. Great grandmother to Rigel, Clare, William, Max, Sean, Aubree and Logan. She is survived by her sister Waveney Salter (late Allen) and brother Harold. Predeceased by her sister Doreen Hodder (late Charles). She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Daughter of Earl and Gertie Morphy. The family will receive visitors at McKersie & Early Funeral Home, 114 Main St. E., Milton (905) 878-4452 on Tuesday August 19, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday August 20, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home chapel with a reception to follow. Lorna will be laid to rest with Alf at the Knox Presbyterian/Crieff Cemetery in Puslinch. If desired, memorial donations to the Townsend Smith Hospice Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
