I'm not sure how a person goes about sharing a memory of a women capable of throwing a slipper, having it rebound off two walls and still hit someone in the back or getting between two dogs fighting and pull them apart. No fear, good aim and quick to defend when needed. She took care of us when my father was away for months at a time. Made sure food was on the table when times were tough. I miss her and wish she was still with us. I won't say goodbye to you mom. just a see you when I see you. We had good laughs and I plan on having more. Love you always and missing you more. See you whenever Mom. Michael

One of my favourite memories is when we went to Boston Pizza twice within less than 2 weeks.
The first time of those two dates was February 14th, and Boston Pizza had a contest going on. It was take a cute photo with the heart, share it online and tell a story about your relationship. Well I took the photo of you two, shared it and talked about how beautiful your relationship was.
And it won! You and Opa we're so shocked but also so happy at winning the gift card you both decided we would all go back for Opas birthday. Then we did another photo on Opas birthday. You both were smiling and so happy that day.
Those 2 times where the best memories I'll ever have at Boston Pizza.
Thank you for them Nanny.
I have so many more, from you baking cookies for LJ, teaching him how to bat eyelashes and so many more.
We talked a lot and I'll cherish them for the rest of my life.
I miss you Nanny, but I know you're up there back with your family who I know you missed dearly.
Love always,
Sonja & LJ.

A memory that I have of my mom. She's standing in the kitchen with a baseball bat yelling at my brother and I to stop fighting or else. Then proceeding to give a kitchen chair a good wrack. Let's just say we stopped fighting.
