Ptasinski, Jason Bernard

Jason passed at hospital from a sudden illness on Tuesday, May 13th, 2025 at the age of 54. Jason was predeceased by his loving parents Albin and Marilyn. He is survived by his brother Jonas (wife Regan), nieces and nephews Sadie, Eden, and Elias, and a large extended family. Jason was born in Hamilton, Ontario, later relocating to Arnprior and Ottawa as an adult. In addition to his educational and occupational pursuits, Jason travelled in his youth, was accomplished in several outdoor sports, and had a passion for gardening. A kind heart and vibrant soul, the often loquacious Jason enjoyed a large number of friends and acquaintances throughout his life. He was a devoted and tireless caregiver for his mother Marilyn when her health declined. Everyone who met Jason will have a story to tell. His creative energy and uncaged spirit was always sure to lead to a memorable moment. Jason's last gift to this world was as an organ donor. Jason’s arrangements have been entrusted into the care of the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family during visitation Saturday June 21, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of memorial service in the Boyce Chapel at 12:00 noon. A reception will follow at the Boyce Reception Centre. Interment Flat Rapids Cemetery, McNab-Braeside. In memory of Jason, donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
