The passing of Graham Riley is sad news and it will leave a large void for Graham’s family. I treasured his life-long friendship, mentorship and kindness. I will miss our countless hours of touring the roads to some of his favourite destinations around the Ottawa Valley. He loved watching laker ships in the Seaway Canal as well as taking in the fall colours on both sides of the Ottawa River. His endless stories of his past were often triggered by his memories of younger days around Shawville and Arnprior
Many Arnprior residents will miss his kindness, generosity and his unique ability to solve problems and mechanical failures.
Graham was a gifted tradesman as a tool & die maker, millwright and welder. His work ethic was exemplary and many of us who worked under his leadership felt privileged to be part of the teams he managed. He always postured others to succeed.
I hope Graham can reconnect with his wife Edythe who passed in 2016, his parents Thomas and Christina, his sister Rosetta and his brother Emerson. I hope he can also reconnect with his brothers-in-law Garney, Grant and Bill whose company he always enjoyed.
Graham will be greatly missed by Brenda, Deanna and his sisters Muriel, Kathleen and Joy.
On behalf of Elizabeth and our sons Rian and Graham, I wish my dear friend and uncle Graham eternal peace.

My sincere condolences to the Riley family. I worked with Graham at Boeing for 38 years as a co-worker and as a manager. Graham's was a reliable, smart and skilled worker. His dedication to Boeing Arnprior was one of the reasons the plant was so successful. Graham put in tireless hours, invented work arounds and his skill level was tremdous. My friend rest in peace.
