Noel Douglas Sperry

December 6, 1945 – March 29, 2025

With heavy hearts, the family announces the peaceful passing of Noel Douglas Sperry on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones. He was 79. Son of the late Douglas and Mary (née Shaw) Sperry, Noel was predeceased by his brother, Bill Sperry. He was the beloved husband of Mary Sperry (née Nicholas) for 57 cherished years and a loving father to Lee Sperry (Karen) and Michael Sperry (Kerri). Noel was the proud and adored Grampa/Pops to Logan, Jacob, Logan, and Gabby, who brought him immense joy.

Noel leaves behind a special legacy as a brother-in-law to the late Shirley Anderson (Wayne), Theresa Stokman (John), Jim Nicholas (Susie), Ron Nicholas (Anna), Karen Scobie (late Gary), and Faye Warren (Rob). He will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, and friends. A dedicated employee of BASF and Nylene for many years, Noel took pride in his work and the relationships he built.

Noel’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior. A celebration of Noel's life will be held at the Masonic Hall, 31 James Street Arnprior, Sunday May 4, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity close to your heart in Noel’s memory.
