Obituary of Judy Armstrong

(nee Scheel)

June 2, 1950 – March 27, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Judy Armstrong announce her peaceful passing on Thursday March 27, 2025 at home with her loving family by her side. Judy Armstrong of Arnprior at the age of 74. Beloved wife of Clarence Armstrong. Loving mother of Tanya Reid (Geoff), Amanda Dagg (Chris) and Jason Armstrong (Ali Hartwick). Cherished grandmother of Ashton and Autumn Reid and Rainie and Reggie Armstrong. Dear sister of Bill Scheel (Sue), late Bob Scheel (Mary), Cathy Finner (Pat) and Betty Burgan and sister-in-law of Jean Martin (Bruce). Missed by many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Robert and Pat (Foulds) Scheel.

Judy gave 34 years to teaching with the Ottawa Carleton District School Board, touching lives with her kindness. Her family was her everything, and she lit up playing the slots at Lac Leamy—her little slice of heaven.

Judy’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior where visitation will be held Wednesday April 2, 2025 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. Thursday followed by a memorial service in the Boyce Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the Boyce Reception Centre. In memory of Judy, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
