Earl Charles McHugh

February 1, 1949-February 12, 2025 

With broken hearts we announce that Earl passed away at the Ottawa General Hospital on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved son of the late Francis and Greta (Kippen) McHugh. Predeceased by sister Brenda. Dear father of Sean Patrois, brother of Ray (Judy) and sister Elaine (Gord Graham). Proud Grampa Earl of Keaton and Luella. Dear uncle of Chris, Andrea and Stephanie. Earl's arrangments have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior. A graveside service will be held Saturday June 7, 2025 at the White Lake Community Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. In memory of Earl, donations may be made to the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Research Society. 

A Limb Has Fallen . . .

A limb has fallen from the family tree,
I keep hearing a voice that says “Grieve not for me”.
Remember the best times, the laughter , the song,
The good life lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest,
Remembering all, now I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don’t just stare at the wall.
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin,
Until the day comes we’re together again.
