Susan, Chuck, Richard and families You are all in my thoughts and prayers I have many fond memories of your Mom and Dad during visits at your home in Niagara. I am glad I was able to bring my Mom to visit Marg in Fitzroy Harbour a few years ago and that they chatted by phone just before Christmas. They enjoyed each others company so much. I’ve known Margaret all my life. A beloved relative; always radiant and joyous; my Godmother. When Margaret & Bob would visit us in Etobicoke each Christmas, it was a highlight of the festive season! Such wonderful memories! With a deep lifelong commitment to her faith, Margaret was a such a gentle soul and a shining inspiration to all who have had the pleasure to know her. I still have, and will always cherish, the Prayer Book that Margaret & Bob presented to me at my Confirmation in 1980 - inscribed by them to mark that important day. Margaret’s hand-written Christmas cards that arrived without fail over the past many decades were a pleasure to receive, and our numerous impromptu phone calls in recent years were genuinely heartwarming and very special. Such a great conversationalist, she sounded forever young and vibrant as she spoke about life in Fitzroy Harbour and, of course, her beautiful extended family. And she happily listened to my stories about our young family and life in general; her wise insight and advice throughout the years was immensely appreciated. May she rest in peace and may her kind spirit live within us all. To Susan & David, Chuck & Linda, Richard & Judy and all your family, Karen & I send our warmest condolences, and our prayers are with you.

My sincere condolences to the Stuckey family. We were lucky enough to be Margaret’s neighbour for several years in the Harbour. I had the opportunity to cut her lawn for 7-8 years before I moved away. She was always up for a chat and I thoroughly enjoyed them. She was a great lady who was very proud of her family. Rest in Peace, Margaret.
