I am so sorry about your Mother/Grandmother. She was such a nice lady. I met her a few times when I was at the farm with you. I enjoyed chatting with her about her beautiful flowers and her animals on the farm. I just wanted you to know that I am thinking of all of you.

I'm so sad to hear about Margaret's passing. She was such a sweet and kind person who always had a story to share and bright smile that would lighten your day.
I remember her so fondly from my younger years when I would go to the farm to meet Sheldon for some sort of adventure and I'd always enjoyed our chats as Sheldon was upstairs squeezing into his jeans or making sure his hair was spike 'just so'... Whether it was her immaculate gardens or the beloved Shelties, she would always take the time to show you and tell you how each were doing and better yet, what was coming next.
When I worked in Ottawa, it was always a treat to drive by and see Margaret in the garden, in her fabulous sun hat making sure there were no weeds and that the plants were happy and healthy. A quick toot on the horn would always be greeted with a quick wave followed shortly afterwards by her head popping up to see who she'd just waved at! :)
She was a wonderful lady. And the world is just a little bit darker today because of her loss. Grow your garden in heaven Margaret. I hope I get a chance for you to tell me all about that one too!
Love,
Ken and Gail

It is with the deepest sadness that I have just learned of Margaret’s passing into the loving arms of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Over the past 10 years as a fellow member of the congregation of Emmanuel Anglican Church I witnessed first hand the love and beautiful relationship which Margaret shared with the love of her life, Harold and all her family. This love and passion grew and emanated from the family and was felt by all who knew them. Witnessing Margaret’s unwaivering devotion and love of her saviour, faith and family always humbled me. Even as her health failed her strength shone through and she remained a rock for her family to lean on and an inspiration to all. God Bless you Margaret. I know you are at the Lord’s side and He is very pleased with how you were a beautiful example of His undying love on earth as He wished all Christians to be. I am sincerely disappointed that I am unable to be present as all who love you gather together since I am overseas. I will be sending my love and prayers to all of you, especially to Harold and Sheldon at this difficult time. I will miss you.

Harold and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn Margaret's passing. We have many fond memories of times on the farm and at Church. May God richly bless you with many good memories of an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Margaret's presence will be truly missed.
