Obituary of Helen Lorraine Salter

Retired- Pfizer Canada (30 years)

After a brief illness, Helen passed away peacefully at the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital, Tuesday August 1, 2017.  Helen Salter of Pine Grove at the age of 81 years.  Beloved wife of the late Harold E. Salter (2011).  Dearly loved and devoted mother of Debbie Homer (Jim), Kathy Mask (Mike), Steven Salter (Sue) and Lori Chusroskie (Kevin Nicholas).  Cherished grandmother of Amanda Holmes (Alex), Kyle Mask, Scott and Nikki Salter and Curtis and Cory Chusroskie.  Predeceased by her brothers Harold Holbein (late Ona) and Mervyn Holbein (late Anna) and sister Beatrice Kingsley (late Reginald).  Helen will be fondly remembered by John Chusroskie, Susan Conway and Ian Moodie (Lisa), Helen’s good neighbor who she called her second son.  Daughter of the late Spurgeon and Grace (Hitchcock) Holbein.  Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior.  Visitations  Friday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday after 10:00 a.m.  Funeral Service will be conducted Saturday August 5, 2017 in the Boyce Chapel at 11:00 a.m.  Cremation to follow.  Interment Arnprior Malloch Road Cemetery at a later date.  In memoriams to the Elgin Street Baptist Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
