Obituary of James Johnson "John" Homer

John passed away peacefully at Fairview Manor, Almonte Saturday afternoon June 3, 2017 at the age of 86 years.  Beloved husband of Dorothy Homer (Wagner) of Arnprior.  Much loved father of Jim (Debbie), Diane Ziebarth (Cal), Terry (Taina), Wayne (Lorraine), Paul (Carol), Lynn (George Goudie) and Charlene Davidson (Randy).  Dearly loved grandfather of Jason, Ben, Sarah, Chad, Brandon, Meagan, Joey and Adam.  Will be missed by 10 great-grandchildren.  Predeceased by siblings; Arthur (late Isabel), Lucy, Elsie, Winnifred, Mabel and Sylvia.  Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior.  Visitations Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday morning 9:30-11:00 a.m.  Funeral service will be conducted Thursday June 8, 2017 in the Boyce Chapel at 11:00 a.m.  Rev. Norine Gullons officiating.  In memorial donations to the Arnprior-Braeside-McNab Seniors at Home Program or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
