Passed away suddenly but peacefully at home in the early morning hours of Sunday January 29, 2017. Jim Cooley of Arnprior in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Sophie Cooley (nee Petroff). Loving father of Dennis Cooley (Julie), Kathy Tydale and Carol Cooley (Doug Young), all of Regina, SK and Colleen Cooley of Kanata, ON. Cherished grandfather of Jeffrey, Jackson, Andrew, Alex, Jake and Stanley. Dear brother of Anna Turner of Williams Lake, B.C. Predeceased by brothers Cliff and Jack. Son of the late Wilbert and Ada (Kidner) Cooley. Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior. Cremation to take place. A Memorial Service will take place in Regina, SK later in the spring with interment at the RCMP “Depot” Division Cemetery, Regina SK. In memoriam donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
