Passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital Friday January 20, 2017. Freida McKay of Arnprior, formerly of Ottawa at the age of 82.
Loving wife of the late Dalton “Bucky” McKay. Dear mother of Les McKay (Brenda) of Arnprior and Suzanne McKay of Barry’s Bay. Dearly loved grandmother of Scott, Laura, Brad (Krista) and Carrie (Steve). Cherished great-grandmother of Ava, Mason, Adelyn, Taylor and Mitchell. Predeceased by brothers Eric, Ernest and Karl. Survived by brother Lawrence Schrankler of Ladysmith, Quebec and sister Della Hobbs (Versal) of Arnprior. Special thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at the Arnprior Hospital.
Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior.
Cremation to take place. A Memorial Service will take place in Ladysmith, Quebec later in the spring.
