Obituary of Elizabeth Higginson

(nee Purdy)  

July 2, 1933-January 18, 2018

Elizabeth passed away peacefully at the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital, Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the age of 84.  Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Ross Higginson of Antrim.  Dearly loved Mother of John (Bonnie) and Stanley (Mary Lou).  Loving Grandmother of Crystal, Jamie (Charity), Shelley (Bryan) and Kimberley (Chris).  Loving Great-Grandmother of Sophia, and Zoe.  Sister of Joan Campbell (Ken).  Sister-in-law of Ferne Purdy, Edith Purdy, and Harold and Margaret Higginson.  Predeceased by siblings Tom, Gordon, Freda, Argyle, Bower, and John.  Special thanks to the wonderfully caring nurses and physicians at the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital, and to the kind and friendly staff at the Arnprior Villa.  Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd, Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre, 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior.  Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 22, 2018 in the Boyce Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Peggy Kuzmicz officiating.  Reception to follow in the Boyce Reception Centre.  Spring interment St. Mark’s Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Anglican Church, Antrim or the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation.
