Retired-Civil Defence, Arnprior

Passed away peacefully at Almonte Country Haven Friday January 5, 2018.  Ida Gravelle of Arnprior, formerly of Braeside at the age of 92.  Beloved wife of the late Samuel Gravelle.  Dearly loved mother of Remi (Elizabeth) of Norway Bay, David (Kim) of Orleans and Hilda (late Blake) Keays of Arnprior.  Adored  “Nanny” of Gilles, Maryse, Cheyenne and Caleb.  Cherished “Great-Nanny” of Noah and Sam.  Dear sister of Florimond (Pauline) of Calumet Island.  Predeceased by 13 brothers and sisters.  Ida will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.  Daughter of the late Eugene and Hermeline (Laporte) LaSalle.  Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre, 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior.  Visitations will take place Wednesday January 10, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday January 11, 2018 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Braeside at 11:00 a.m.  Cremation to follow.  Spring interment Sand Point Public Cemetery.  In memory of Ida, please consider a donation to the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation.  Condolences/Tributes/Donations at www.boycefuneralhome.ca
