Gahan, John William November 15, 1955-August 10, 2016 Developer/Carpenter Canadian Rocky Road Construction John passed away Wednesday August 10, 2016 in the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital after a courageous fight against cancer. He was 60. Beloved son of Elwin and Phyllis (Storie) Gahan. Dear brother of Barrie (Debbie), Garnett (Carol), Murray (Janice), Peter (Debbie) and Faith (Hilo) Colovic. John will be missed by his aunts and uncle, many cousins, nieces and nephews. Special friend of Wally (Marlene) Fehler. A special thank you to Dr. Fishman, Dr. Scott and the nursing staff of the Arnprior Hospital for their excellent, compassionate care. John was born in Arnprior and travelled out west to work in Coldstream B.C. where he entered into a partnership and became Project Supervisor of Canadian Rocky Road Construction. He later travelled to Vernon B.C. where he was residing before returning back home to Arnprior. He had a true strength about him. He was a talented, skilled carpenter that could build anything with utmost talent and precision. Friends are invited to join his family for visitation at the Boyce Funeral Home, Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre, 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior Sunday August 14, 2016 from 12 noon until time of service at 2:00 p.m. in the Boyce Chapel. Private family interment to follow in Castleford Union Cemetery. In memoriams can be made to the Arnprior Hospital “Partners in Caring” Foundation or Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, (PAOC) Missions.
